— Photography Tip: USE NATURAL LIGHT

Use natural lighting as much as possible.

I am not saying that you can not create a great photograph when you lack natural lighting but using it is the best. It affects the subject most likely to be more realistic. However, you should understand few basics such as reflected light that considers hue, saturation, and brightness of colors. (Part of Color Theory)

Although lacking of natural lighting can mostly be solved with the use of artificial light such as the most commonly known camera flash. And even if we have existing light like shooting outdoors for example, most of the time we have to include fill-flashing to add "pop" on your image. Just be careful with the speed of light. It just needs a “tad” bit of light. You don’t have to overpower the natural light unless you are already a professional one.

Photographers must also understand the principle of distance of the light to the subject impacts light quality too. Bottom line—size (and distance) does matter when it comes to light modifiers, not just lenses.

Ask yourself three questions. I’ll do the same.
 1. Am I a poser Christian?
2. Am I always trying to impress the people around me?
3. Am I comfortable with who God has created me to be?
As I sit here in my local coffee shop and drink my iced-vanilla latte (a real manly drink), I’ve begun to look around me and wonder what type of lifestyle I am portraying as I sip my de-caffeinated beverage.
I’ve already noticed a few people walk through the entrance, and immediately stare at the bibles on my table with a dumfounded look upon their face. In fact, one lady even gave me a little, “Pfff” , then rolled her eyes as she made her way to the nearest barista. As faithful and holy as I want to claim to be, I wont try to hide that insecure thoughts have now begun running through my head. Hey, I’m human…
Satan Has Me Thinking: “Maybe I should put my bibles away so I don’t make people feel uncomfortable.” Or,”Maybe I should go to a different coffee shop where the tables are more secluded.”
Instantly I’ve snapped out of my insecure trance and said, “NO!” This is exactly why I am writing this post… So that people who claim to follow Jesus will actually start acting like it, regardless of who they are surrounded by. The title of this post is ”Poser Christianity,” and as silly as the title may sound, I want to make sure that my life portrays a living, and breathing example of Jesus Christ and not some washed out 1/2 crafted replica.
TRUTH: Maybe I should just be who God created me to be and stop making excuses as to why I should be someone else. Maybe I should care less about the shallow opinions of some coffee drinking soccer mom, and only focus on the opinion that matters. God’s.
WHY? Because! Since the day I was born, God set aside a place for me in His kingdom. My calling is to walk like Jesus walked, talk like He talked, and serve like He served. I’m sick and tired of our generation being sick and tired. Be who God has called you to be, and not who the world wants you to be.
Even as I continue to write this there is a battle for my heart that wages every single day. No matter where I am writing, tweeting, or posting, the world will try to pull me one way, while the truth of The Gospel moves to lead me the right way. It’s a battle that we must prepare for every day of our lives. And regardless of your past, you can make a change today for the better of your future.
Poser Christianity is an epidemic I believe to be sweeping across churches around the world. Don’t let someone who is infected by it give it to you.

— Think On These Things - A Challenge

Hi, dear lovelies! It’s been ages since the last time I bothered myself posting here. Well, I am thankful I finally found time today with my blog.

Anyways, reason is, I am actually inspired today when I woke up and I was in the mood to read my bible to feed my soul. So I have read about this verse:

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. – Philippians 4:8

It has boosted my perseverance and motivation today so I wanted to share it to almost everyone. And I was like finding a great typography image about this for I wanted it to post on facebook. Lol. And thank God I found this two (2) blog posts from different sites relating to the verse that I solemnly believe you can relate to.

So basically, the verse is all about being thankful on great things happening in your life. Or maybe that’s how I see it. And this will help you to be more motivated on situations we are living/suffering (whatever your views you are looking). And Paula (owner of the first link/blogpost I gave) wanted to challenge everyone how each of us will deal our whole week. Maybe it will interest you to try?

Let’s see how it will go.

And another relating topic is about choosing companions. Jason (owner of the 2nd link/blogpost I gave) mentioned that there is this book which was based on Philippians 4:8. This was written by Tommy Newberry and entitled The 4:8 Principle.

I never read about it. In fact, I haven’t heard about it and I think it’s pitiful of me ‘cause seriously it heats up my thirst on reading more books in times that I am too busy! *coughs*liketoday*coughs*

Back to the topic. The author pointed some things about life. And as I said, relating the verse I have read. "When people of different values hang out together, somebody ultimately changes."

So he offers some advice about choosing carefully who to spend time with. He writes:

"Invest more time with people who look like this:
1. Their character and integrity are equal to or greater than your own.
2. They share your faith, or even better, they are further along in their relationship with God.
3. Their lives demonstrate the joy-filled fruit of their faith.
4. You’d like your children grow up and be similar to them.
5. They hold you accountable and ask you the tough questions that are avoided by the majority.
6. They draw the best out of you and remind you that God is doing exciting things through you.
7. They are sincerely committed to being positively sharpened by their exposure to you” (151-152).

And that goes to verse Proverbs 13:20!

"Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companian of fools will suffer harm"

Yea, I know. It’s complicated. But if you understand it, I swear you’ll feel contentment and happiness that is almost unexplainable.

I hope I somehow helped you with your thoughts, people. I wish you all well! God bless.

— MLKHNG PNAY ON HIATUS.

Due to the high demand in time my reality has been asking, I will be on a leave again. I’ll be back promptly after a week or two. I just need to focus on these things by now:

  • Studies
  • School Organization (Believe it or not, I’m an officer. Treasurer to be exact, and I didn’t know it would be this hard. I really thought money could be fun. lol)
  • Music
  • Sidelines (I badly need this! I’m srsly broke you couldn’t even imagine!)
  • Church (Oh well lol)

I wish to have a lot more time to spend with this blog though. I mean, I really miss posting and I really feel so outdated. I don’t even have the time to edit my photographs and even if I do, my queue post isn’t working. Boohoo!

Anyway, I’m happy to be able to post today a series of photographs I have taken 2 weeks ago and some activities I have been doing. Hope it will inspire you.

Until next time, Lovelies. Happy Virus! <3
